1)what is SLIC?
When ever you buy a pc/laptop from a vendor like Dell, Acer, IBM etc they come with SLIC bios. SLIC basicly contains tables that contain OEM information(Original Equiepment Manufacturer).this technology is embedded in the bios of the computer. the main advantage of this technology is that when M$ makes operating systems, they create a product key for each DVD that they are selling so that it can be installed only by the buyer. However when it comes to mass distrubution like Dell Acer, they create a RTM copy so that the dvd that is sent to Dell will only work on dell machines and non other. again this is varified by the DVD from the BIOS of the compter which has the SLIC infomation.Now when Vista was launched SLIC v 2.0 was created and all the laptops/Pcs that hit the marked from a vendor came with that version.Now when people installed vista from the OEM DVD in the OEM machine they never asked for any product key and it was already activated whareas if the same DVD is used for installation in any other Pc (Non OEM) then it will ask for a product key and also you would need to activate the product with in a period of time. So the hacks that came out for Vista was a Bios emulator which actually emulated the Bios of a real OEM , and it used to load while booting and post boot the certificates used to pass thinking it was a OEM. That was SLIC 2.0. but now M$ came up with SLIC 2.1, that means the laptops that has 2.0 will not install and activate DVDs created for 2.1. But hopefully we will have a 2.1 emulater for windows 7 soon that can be installed on customized PC/laptops like mine.

My thought: DON'T try to update until Windows 7 go live i.e. Oct 22. Lots of people experienced wear things about their registry values changed miserly
Other strange thing is the KB* updated files didn?t have description on the MS site
I have no idea why's MS trying to do this but not the case for Vista

Release 6 Final.loader ChangeLOG:
- Improved Method For the loader.

6)Question frequently asked: What is Non SLIC Option or Hazar Option 2 & other botton details in INFO?
: you have to follow these steps:
1- Install Win7 RTM or OEM version, 32 or 64 bits;
2- Run 7Loader_release_5.exe as administrator;
3- click "select task" button, then select the manufacturer;
4- click "none slic option 1" and WAIT until the message bla bla bla to reboot;
5- after rebooted the machine, run the crack again AS ADMINISTRATOR and now choose "Hazar option 2", WAIT the message to reboot again;
6- (Optional) you can record the information about manufacturer, selecting the desired one and clicking "Install information xx Bit" depending your plataform.
7)When you have multiple Partition here is an example how you could do it:
I have following partition
HDD 0 partition 1 Win XP Prof SP3
HDD 0 partition 2 Win Vista Home Premium SP2
HDD 1 partition 1 Win 7 Ultimate
Win Vista was activated with boot loader and boot loader is in HDD 0 partiton 1 & 2.
Activated Win 7 by 7 loader release 4 with following procedure.
1. Click Activate slic present button and wait for install window. Cancel it.
2. Click Non slic option 1 and wait.
3. Click Non slic option 2 and wait.
4. copy grldr from HDD 0 partiton 2 and paste it into HDD 0 partiton 1. (If grldr already exist, rename it for late use in Vista or else vista will get deactivated.)
5. reboot your pc and win 7 ultimate activated.
