Pc shutdown and unable to start again.

Hi guys,

My pc shutsdown and is unable to start again. When i run startup repair, it says after a while " Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automaticlly"

Can someone please tell me what this means??

It seems that it's caused by your videocard or soundcard driver

Also,...if you are using a webcam, try unplugging it, then try reboot...I had problems with Logitech webcam causing the problem in 7137.  :o

I too had also a problem. since RC1 build if my computer restarts or shutdown. the next boot in POST that my bios is unable to load. or should I say all settings on my bios return to default like the date (12-05-05)- it returns to where the bios is set to?  ???

the problems persist upto build 7077 and then when I upgrade to 7201. boom it return  :o

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies! I think that the latest driver for my video card nvdia 9400 GT caused the problem.
I returned to Vista Ultimate :'( and at first my pc worked correctly.... so i updated my driver.
Frankly i have had enough of it and wanted to watch a movie, so i shut down my pc, connected it to my tv (hdmi) and started it.
But.... the damn thing failed to start >:(
The only difference this time was that when i started it again it high lighted START WINDOWS NORMALLY so i did.....
And it started :) :) but.... after watching 2 movies it froze again!!

I am going to download the latest build of Windows 7 right now because Vista is really ..... >:( :(
