Win 7 Tweaks on SSD - Manual or Gigatweek-like Program
« on: October 06, 2010, 07:41:55 PM »
With my systems I am always trying to maximize speed (that's why I crash so much  ;D).

As such, on my new 80 GB SSD, am I wise to use the more time consuming manual process or should I use a tweeking program like Gigatweek?

My reasons for hesitating to use a Tweaking Program are three-fold:

1) It must be installed
2) I don't trust other people/programs to do this for me
3) I am very comfortable in the Registry

Why don't you open Notepad along with regedit, copy and paste the modified keys and save as  incurablegeektweek.reg...  ;)

Manual is preferable to not knowing what someone else is doing to my computer...lol.  :D

Confirms my thinking exactly.

For me this topic can be closed but for others it may be of interest.

Thank you so much DMHolt.
